Our out-of-school time (OST) program is designed to support academic achievement, social and emotional development, and a seamless transition to the next educational level. Year-Round Educational Support
Our Out-Of-School time is meticulously designed to provide continuous learning opportunities that span the entire year, ensuring that every student can achieve their best:
- Afterschool Programs: We offer a comprehensive suite of afterschool activities that include academic enrichment, homework assistance, and structured social-emotional learning (SEL) activities. These programs are designed to foster both personal and educational growth, helping students navigate their school year successfully with enhanced academic skills and emotional intelligence.
- Summer Camps: Our dynamic 8-week summer camp program engages students in a variety of activities designed to promote a well-rounded education. Students participate in STEM activities, arts and crafts, life skills training, and recreational therapy. This diverse curriculum helps maintain academic momentum and physical health during the summer break, preventing the summer slide.
- Tutoring Services: Our tailored tutoring sessions are focused on reinforcing and advancing students’ knowledge in critical areas such as literacy, numeracy, and executive functioning. By addressing these foundational skills, we ensure that students are well-prepared for all academic challenges.
- Summer Academic Reinforcement: Our summer program is specifically designed to ensure that students are not only retaining but also building upon the concepts learned throughout the school year. By revisiting and solidifying these concepts, we prepare students for a seamless transition to the next grade level. This proactive approach addresses any learning gaps and reinforces knowledge, making sure students are confident and well-prepared for the upcoming school year.

STEM Integration
We emphasize STEM education to foster innovation, creativity, and teamwork among our students:
- Robotics: Our program introduces students to the fundamentals of robotics. Each student receives a robotics kit, allowing them to design, build, and program their own robots. This hands-on approach enhances their technical skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Coding and App Development: We offer coding applications that teach the basics of computer programming. Students learn to create their own games and simulations, which encourages logical thinking and creativity.
- Horticulture: Our sensory gardens act as living labs where students can conduct environmental experiments. This practical experience teaches them about sustainability and the scientific method.
- Math and Technology: Through interactive math games and digital tools, students actively engage with mathematical concepts in fun and engaging ways. These activities help solidify foundational math skills while fostering a love for learning.
- Spatial Reality Display: Utilizing cutting-edge technology, our pilot Spatial Reality Display program allows students to interact with 3D models and simulations, enhancing their understanding of complex scientific and mathematical concepts.
- Assistive Technology: We incorporate assistive technologies, such as speech-to-text software and adaptive tools, to ensure that all students, regardless of their learning needs, can fully participate and benefit from our STEM programs.
- Hands-On Experiments: Our curriculum includes extensive opportunities for students to engage in hands-on experiments across all STEM fields. This approach promotes critical thinking and allows students to apply their knowledge in real-world scenarios.

Life Skills Training
Our program empowers students to develop independence and self-confidence through comprehensive and hands-on life skills training:
- Daily Living Skills: We engage students in practical activities such as budgeting, cooking, and personal hygiene. These are integrated with social skills development to prepare students for real-world challenges.
- Critical Thinking Activities: Through problem-solving exercises and decision-making scenarios, students develop critical thinking skills that are vital for their academic and personal success.
- Garden and Horticulture: Students participate in gardening and horticultural activities, learning about plant care, sustainability, and the environment. These activities not only teach scientific principles but also promote responsibility and mindfulness.

We believe in supporting the entire family through a 2 Gen approach. Parents can actively participate in their children’s education while advancing their own academic or career pursuits:
- Parent Workshops: Sessions on navigating educational systems, career training, and financial literacy help parents support their children’s education.
- Co-Working Spaces: Equipped with high-speed internet and access to educational tools and resources, this setup allows parents to engage in virtual classes, attend professional development workshops, or work on career-related tasks without leaving their children’s learning environment.
- Workforce Systems: Through strategic partnerships with workforce development organizations and local employers, we create direct pathways for parents to access employment opportunities and career advancement resources. Our collaborations with employers and agencies bridge the gap between workforce training and real-world employment, providing career development resources tailored to meet the unique needs of our parents.
